The Deer Park Hotel is located in Giritale, approx 190km from Colombo. The Deer Park is on the banks of the Giritale reservoir, 10 miles before Polonnaruwa.
All rooms are of a very high standard of luxury and receive a level of attention to detail which sets them in a class of their own. There are 4 theme restaurants, each oriented around a different aspect of the resort and the country. Food and drink in all restaurants are of a very high standard and have won numerous awards. Superior Cottages are rustic in design and ideal for couples, they are situated in either a two unit block or four unit block Two unit blocks feature a living area and outdoor bathroom on the ground floor, the upper floor is devoted to the bedroom. The four unit blocks have upper storey units with indoor showers and a shared balcony. They all offer:
