Travel Sri Lanka - Payment Methods

You can choose from various payment methods for your travel reservation, depending on the country you are making the payment from. Whichever method you choose, you can rest assured that your payment is always safe.
1. POSTING A CHEQUE TO ELEGANT TRAVELS:
You can pay by posting a cheque payable to ‘Elegant Travels’ to Conbar House, Mead Lane, Hertford, Herts, SG13 7AP. Please insert booking reference and the lead passenger’s name at the back of the cheque. We will inform you as soon as we receive the cheque.
IMPORTNT NOTE:
   •Do not send cash by post.
   •The travel documents will only be sent out after the cheque has been cleared at the bank, which is normally after 10 working days (exclude bank holidays).
   •Do not send a cheque if your travel date is within 10 working days.
   •When posting cheques, Elegant Travels cannot be held responsible for lost cheques or delayed post.
2. ONLINE OR TELEPHONE BANKING PAYMENT:
You can pay via your online (web) or telephone banking payment facilities available from your bank. You will need to provide your bank with Elegant Travels bank details below. Please include the booking reference or lead passenger name in the transfer reference if possible:

IMPORTNT NOTE:
   •At most major banks the payment is instant (same day), otherwise payment can take up to 3 working days to arrive at Elegant Travels account. Please check with your bank.
   •Urgent travel documents will only be sent out the following working day after funds are cleared in the Elegant Travels account.
3. CREDIT OR DEBIT CARD PAYMENT:
You can pay by using your either credit or debit card. We accept following card payments:
   •Credit Cards - MasterCard, Visa and American Express.
   •Debit Cards - Solo, Maestro (formally switch), Visa Delta, Visa Electron.

IMPORTNT NOTE:
   •Payment by Credit Card incurs a surcharge. Please call us for more details.
   •No charge will be added to your payment if you pay by Debit Card.
   •To fight fraud there will be additional checks if the travel date is within 2 months of the payment date. Please call us for more details.
If you are using someone else’s card to make the payment (3rd party) then the card owner has to complete our 3rd part authorisation form and fax it to us with a copy of both sides of the card.
